WSOM 2012, 9th Workshop on Self-Organizing Maps will be organized in Viña del Mar, Chile between 12th and 14th of December 2012. Prof. Pablo Estévez from Universidad de Chile serves as the general chair, Prof. Pablo Zegers from Universidad de los Andes, Chile as the program chair and Prof. Guilherme Barreto from Universidade Federal do Crera, Brazil as the publicity chair.Viña del Mar is a city on central Chile's Pacific coast. It is located 5 kilometers from Valparaiso. The average high temperature in Viña del Mar in December is 23 degrees Celcius.
